"O Mother, what have we done wrong?

We shelter birds and squirrels against savage storms and icy hails,
drink poison from the air unconditionally and exhale nourishment for all to share,
adhere faithfully to our schedules every year to grow luscious fruits under our sturdy arms.
Just as you've told us to.

Here They come to take us away with Their shiny axes and machines.
We fall by the hundreds, sometimes more while They cheer and celebrate our demise.
Yet we stand, without fear nor regret,
bravely facing Them to the last cut.
Just as you've told us to.

Now, it's time for me to go..."

Explaination:
Good and Evil are defined by our actions, not by our color nor race. Therefore, the colors in the composition are uniformly vibrant, without the stereotypical distinction through bright and dark tones, or cool and warm temperatures, etc.
Whether good or evil, we all live in the same world. Its what we do that defines who we are. The dark figures holding the axes represent us humans.
Thou nature can't speak words but to them, are we evil?

It's not like the other's black and white and it goes deeper than just in every good is evil and vice versa. No stereotypicial distinction (or message for that matter)indeed. Just wonderfull :+fav:
